I tried your new FLA export fearute with the attached swf file.
After 25 minutes it is still "Exporting FLA..."
> What steps will reproduce the problem?
Open the attached swf.
Select File/Export to FLA
Wait 25 minutes.
> What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Exporting finishes after some seconds/minutes.
Current: infinite loop.
> What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.6.0, Windows 7 x64

normal export finishes in 73 seconds

version 1.6.0u1 was released.
FLA export was improved, the export on the file should work, try it.
