just to clarify, the error occurs when saving
What method do you edit?
Is it ActionScript 1/2 or ActionScript 3?
It does not work for all method or specific method?
Could you attach SWF file you have problem with?

JPEXSIf AS1/2 do you edit P-code or ActionScript code?
AS3 and ofcourse p-code,will attach in a sec, will run a few more tests
ActionScript_3.swfoh and btw editing and saving this in FFDec 1.7.3u1 works fine
umm.. i mean in 1.7.2u2 works fine
