Trying to export image via 'export selection'

Dialog box opens fine, asks for destination directory, but no file is created.

The option to copy the image via the 'snapshot' feature works fine for exporting an image,
but this does not provide alpha channels for images with transparencies, so the 'export
selection' seems like the best way to do this.

I can't reproduce it with current version, it seems to work fine.
Which image did you select?
