How can I add instance names to movieclips?

1) There's Edit button under the tree you see on the pictures, press it.
2) The field 'name' is present in the file on PlaceObject2 tag only when field
'placeFlagHasName' is 1 (true - checked). So check that field and 'name' tree item should
appear automatically.
